I had a fantastic reunion with Rory. Rory and I went to school together many years ago and we had plenty to catch up on.  His voice sounded almost unchanged but was now richer and deeper in tone. His face had taken on new characteristics and definition that only the human condition can bring after flying the nest, leaving the bubble and extending your reach to world beyond the house you grew up in.

Instantly I felt at ease and we were rollicking from snippets of the past few years giving each other an idea of who we are now; we’d been apart for just as long as we’d known each other.

His independent escapades through the Americas delighted and enlightened me to the fact that he had maintained and grown his character beyond the young man I knew. Of course there are many more factors to one’s development but there is only so much that can be said in an evening. I believe Rory is someone you should want to know and brings value; I’m eager to stay in touch and keep up with his ventures.
