The city is lovely. It is centred around the river Ljubljanica and Ljubljana Castle, making it easy to navigate. Ljubljana is full of interesting places; there is even a Cat Café.

I'm told you can see the mountains from the castle on top of the hill - it was a little too foggy on my visit to see them but I planned a closer viewing for later in the week.

I met a great guy who had moved back to Ljubljana and was searching for an apartment there. Dejan often went dancing in the evenings and we became acquainted over a tasty tipple.
