The day was cut short as I spent it with the owners of TXORI Taberna, Esther and Rafa, who welcomed me into their home, showed me around their village and taught me about the Basque culture including stone pulling and Jai alai. Esther took me to this neglected house where a tree had pierced the wall and was growing out of the side after being left for over a decade; the house belongs to two feuding brothers.
