Here it is, the Stari Most bridge - well the reconstruction as the 16th century original was destroyed in the Croat-Bosniak war. It was faithfully reconstructed in 2004 and is a fantastic example of Balkan Islamic architecture.  This connects to the old town of Mostar which consists of a markets selling trinkets and rugs. The cobblestone roads twist and turn branching off into back-streets that lead down to where this picture was taken.

There is a diving club nearby where the people leap off of the bridge 24 metres (~80ft) into the river below. I was hoping to see someone jump but given that it was winter the shock from the water temperature alone is reason enough not to do it.
