One last Catamaran and we were on our way. Walking from the port to the old city takes around half an hour and then you're in the stronghold. I love the cities on the Dalmatian coast, the streets are made of marble and the waters are pellucid. Flip flops are not advisable on the streets after it has rained.

We traversed the fortress walls and I spotted this magnificent satellite dish peeking out from the roof top.  Such beautiful corrosion.

It is a heavenly city, however it is an absolute tourist trap, especially since Game of Thrones is filmed there.  We visited at the end of the season but it was still heaving with people.

Searching for the Mother of Dragons we instead came across an old school friends' parents, I had never met them but Steve recognised them instantly.
