Day 334 Hvar to Korčula
On our whistle stop tour I could show you a majestic landscape from a 16th century Venetian backed castle, however I thought the protagonists would be a lot more interesting than another postcard picture, but of course there'll be more of those 😉. The Španjola Fortress was most impressive and en route we saw a small lizard devour a moth of equal length.
Taking a catamaran to Korčula, Sam and Steve felt a little under the weather and took motion sickness tablets which led to a very sleepy Sam that night. One amigo less the remaining three went to a bar after dinner and it was filled to the brim with well dressed blondes; we spoke to one of the guys and it turned out they were a Finnish University sailing society on a voyage down the Dalmatian coast. At midnight it was Steve's Birthday and he really got a treat the next day; he even managed to survive it in one piece!
