Maximising the time my brother had in the country we took a night bus to Madrid at 1:30am and arrived in time for breakfast. You can see many beautiful things in the city including the Segovia Viaduct which has a haunting history. Since neither of us managed to get much sleep on the bus we had a kip in the afternoon and then went for Pimientos de Padróns, delectable green peppers where one in ten will knock your socks off they're so hot; there's nothing like a delicious game of capsicum roulette!
